Allisyn Snyder is a lifelong creator, and co-owner of Watch The Footage (WTF) Productions, launching her career in the entertainment industry as an actress at 4 years old. After graduating in 2011 at the age of 15, she set her foundation with animation and cinematography studies at Glendale CC. At age 17, Allisyn began writing sketches for AwesomenessTV, with several airing on Nickelodeon. The following year, Allisyn created the YouTube personality, Astrid Clover, releasing a new episode every Friday for 7 years and producing over 350 original episodes under the alias. In 2016, Allisyn formed WTF Productions and began producing horror shorts such as Weeji, It’s Just a Story, Nasty Habits, and Room 566, which gained distribution through Fun Size Horror (FSH). Nasty Habits, written and directed by Allisyn in 2019, was selected by more than 60 film festivals, taking home 30+ accolades including Best Director at Block Island Film Festival 2019, and the Platinum Award for Best Female Director at Independent Shorts Awards 2019. The WTF team's festival success continued with Room 566, a horror short written by Allisyn and directed by her husband Dylan Snyder that follows an anxiety-ridden man’s tumultuous Emergency Room experience. The script, which brought to life Allisyn's intense fear of hospitals and the supernatural, acquired accolades including Outstanding Screen Story at ZedFest 2019, and Best Screenplay at One-Reeler Short Film Competition 2019. When not in front of or behind the camera, Allisyn enjoys roller derby, trapeze, and scuba diving. She is a prolific artist, with her dark and whimsical paintings invited to gallery showings since she was 15 years old.
